To be able to apply for a timber pest manager license you need to complete and meet the required standard in the following units from the Certificate III in Urban Pest Management qualification CPP30119:
This is a nationally recognised qualification covering both general pest and timber pest qualifications and also other aspects of being a professional pest control technician, such as understanding workplace, health and safety and customer service.
There is also a Certificate IV in Urban Pest Management (CPP41619 ) which provide advance pest management and associated business management training.
The pest control license requirements vary slightly by state. There is no national pest control license and you need to apply for license for each state in which you intend to operate.
The license is often split into sub-sections (eg. General Pest Control and Timber Pests) and you need to have the necessary qualifications for those sections you wish to have a license.
