Greenzone Product Updates

The Greenzone team have been busy making improvements to their newly acquired reticulation system and announce the launch of a coloured expansion foam.

The acquisition of Altis Pty Ltd and the subsequent manufacturing of the Altis reticulation system marked a significant operational change for Greenzone, with improvements being made not just to the reticulation product but to other existing products too.

One of the major improvements introduced by Greenzone was making the installation process of the Altis reticulation system more user-friendly. Previously, the system involved perforated plastic sheets sold in rolls, each measuring 50 metres in length. To enhance convenience, Greenzone developed a new packaging method by introducing a box and spool system. In this system, the plastic sheet is wound round a cardboard spool and housed in a cardboard box with an opening, allowing the sheet to be easily pulled out during installation.

This change not only simplifies handling but also streamlines the process, making the product more accessible and easier to manage for on-site installers.

By keeping the perforated plastic sheets enclosed in a cardboard box, the sheets remain clean and dry, which is essential for maintaining the integrity of the material. Additionally, the design helps prevent any tangling issues, making the sheets easier to handle and deploy during on-site installations.

“Since the new packaging was announced, the response from the customers has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Brett Bowey, general manager of Greenzone. “In the past, many installers had to create their own dispensing contraptions to manage the bulky and unwieldy rolls of perforated plastic sheets, which added time and complexity to the installation process. The innovative packaging solution provided by Greenzone has eliminated this extra step by offering a convenient and efficient way to dispense the sheets directly from the box.”

Greenzone has also modified its biggest selling product, Greenzone Expansion Foam, with the introduction of its new Grey Expansion Foam. This new version is particularly beneficial in pre-construction work; the grey foam is designed to blend seamlessly with concrete and other surrounding hard surfaces, providing a neat and aesthetically pleasing finish.

Mr Bowey added, “By matching the colour of common construction materials, the Grey Expansion Foam not only serves its functional purpose but also enhances the overall appearance of the installation, making it an ideal choice for projects where visual appeal is important. This product further exemplifies Greenzone’s commitment to offering practical and aesthetically conscious solutions to the construction industry.

“Greenzone original white foam is still available, ensuring customers have options depending on their specific project needs and aesthetic preferences. While the Grey Expansion Foam is designed to blend in with concrete and other hard surfaces in pre-construction work, the white foam remains available for situations where a more contrasting or traditional look is desired.”

Both products are available now from pest control distributors.
