Termseal’s reticulation system has been re-certified under the CodeMark Australia scheme, making it a trusted choice for pre-construction work.
Termseal’s trusted reticulation product, the Termite-Pro Perimeter Retreatment System, has been re-certified by CodeMark Australia. For pest managers working in pre-construction, this means that after installation, on-site approval process is seamless as the system already ticks the boxes for compliance with the National Construction Code. This saves potentially days on any construction job, allowing termite managers to work efficiently and more productively.
The Termite-Pro Perimeter Retreatment System was first developed in 2018 using Termseal’s vast experience in termite management. It was developed within the requirements of Australian Standard 3660.3-2014 on two key foundations: technology and simplicity. The simplicity comes from designing a system that is easy for pest managers to use, and one that uses as few components parts as possible to deliver the correct volume of termiticide into the soil. This focus on simple, functional design was intentional from the outset.
The best quality pipe was selected for carrying the termiticide, with a view to ensuring it was different from what was already available on the market. The pipe that was chosen is one used by one of the world’s best water irrigation companies; its durability means it can be relied upon to consistently deliver the required amount of liquid into the soil.
In 2025, Termseal took the opportunity to use the CodeMark re-certification process to undertake soil sampling analysis to verify the system’s performance. A small change has consequently been made to the pipe design: the original pipe had 35 m run lengths with emitter valves spaced at 100 mm, but the new design uses 30 m run lengths with 150 mm emitter spacings. It was determined through analysis of soil samples that wider spacings and a shorter overall pipe length is the best way to deliver reliable soil coverage.

When it first came to market, the product development work that went into designing the Termite-Pro Perimeter Retreatment System was independently assessed and verified through the CodeMark Australia Scheme, a program that is run under the auspices of the Australian Building Codes Board by JAS-ANZ. The scheme has many rigorous specifications which any product must meet before it will gain accreditation. The system’s CodeMark re-certification in 2025 means that termite managers can be assured it delivers on its promises.
Peter Brigden, general manager for Termseal Australia, said, “To gain and maintain CodeMark certification, we had to provide details not only of our soil testing, but details of the quality manufacturing procedures undertaken by the manufacturers of the components used to make up the system. We also provided details of the product sourcing, supply and feedback mechanisms we set up. This entire development and certification process took months and cost money, but at Termseal we pride ourselves on delivering the very best products.”
The result is a reticulation system that holds a Certificate of Conformity from the CodeMark Australia Scheme, which was re-certified in 2025. It verifies that the system meets the requirements of the relevant parts of the Australian Standard, and, therefore, the criteria of Building Code of Australia 2022 (Amdt. 2).
The Termite-Pro Perimeter Retreatment System was also designed with easy installation in mind.
The CodeMark Certification specifies the use of wall plaques in place of a concrete ‘mowing strip’. The small plaques contain advisory text, indicating that a retreatment system has been installed within 150 mm of the structure’s edge. This provides a more economical way to install a perimeter system to a building without the cost and placement of the ‘mowing strip’.

Termite-Pro can be used with any registered termiticide that allows for use with certified systems. It is ideal for edge beam construction, which is common in WA. The system can also be combined with Termseal Universal Penetration Lock Collars to provide full house protection.
Having CodeMark certification demonstrates to those outside the pest management Industry, such as building certifiers, that Termseal’s reticulation system ‘stacks up’ in terms of its performance. Investing so heavily in product development and certification means termite managers can have complete confidence installing the system, with the added benefit of knowing that compliance and sign-off will be a breeze.
