Bell Labs has launched new rodent bait using a new active for the Australian market.
One of the few positives of the pandemic is that many people have had extra time at home to complete the odd jobs, renovations and landscaping projects that had been put off for too long. These projects have reminded us of the importance in having the right tools for the job. Pest control is no different. Having the right tools makes the job easier (using the torch on your phone to conduct an inspection simply doesn’t cut it!), and the more tools you have access to, the more prepared you’ll be to tackle any infestation or situation you’re called to.
Bell Laboratories is upgrading the tools in your rodent control toolbox with the introduction of Fastrac Blox Rodenticide to the Australian market. Containing the acute active ingredient bromethalin, Fastrac Blox is the first bromethalin block to be registered for use against rodents in Australia.
It is a non-anticoagulant, single-dose rodenticide, meaning rodents can consume a lethal dose in a single night’s feeding, reducing the amount of bait required to achieve control. Due to an effective knockdown when compared to anticoagulants, more rodents may be controlled with less bait. This means Fastrac Blox saves pest managers time and money.
Nick Jones, technical sales representative at Bell Labs, commented, “The arrival of Fastrac Blox in Australia gives pest managers a powerful new tool to put to work against rodent infestations, and complements our established rodenticide range of Ditrac Blox, Ditrac Rodenticide, Contrac Blox and Contrac Soft Bait. Pest managers now have a more complete toolbox to confidently tackle more infestations, in different environments, more of the time.
“Bell Labs is ‘the world leader in rodent control technology’ and exclusively manufactures high quality rodent control products. Whether you call upon an established product or an innovative new product from Bell Labs, you can be confident that you’re working with the best tools available.”
In addition to bait products, Bell Labs also manufactures and supplies a complete line of tamper-resistant bait stations, mechanical traps, attractant gels and nonpoisonous glueboards to manage rodents in any situation.
