Recognising the demand for another highly palatable soft rodent bait in Australia, Liphatech embarked on a journey of innovation; the result was Resolv Soft Bait, which was released in early 2019. The wax-free formulation is crafted from a blend of food-grade milled grain and vegetable oil combined with bromadiolone, the most widely used active ingredient globally. Incidentally, bromadiolone was discovered by Liphatech in the early 1970s.

Containing a second-generation single-feed anticoagulant with rapid knockdown, Resolv Soft Bait has quickly become a trusted product among professional pest managers in Australia.
Mr Wilson highlighted the irresistible allure of Resolv Soft Bait’s matrix to both rats and mice, which provides pest managers with a high palatability soft bait alternative to traditional bromadiolone wax blocks. Liphatech palatability field trials, under tough conditions with strong competing food sources, demonstrated that Resolv Soft Bait was always preferred to conventional wax blocks. Over a four-week trial period, an average of 88-98% of Resolv Soft Bait was eaten, compared with 2-12% of traditional wax blocks.
The soft texture of the bait minimises wastage and ensures easy placement on both horizontal or vertical rods in bait stations, mitigating issues such as crumbling and translocation which can be encountered with traditional wax block baits. This versatility in application makes it suitable for both residential and commercial premises as a cost-effective maintenance bait.
Packaged in convenient 10 g soft bait sachets within a 5.5 kg bucket, Resolv Soft Bait offers 550 bait placements per container, maximising value and enabling flexible baiting strategies.
