One of the pest industry’s must-have reference books has been updated for 2026.
Often referred to as the ‘bible’ for pest managers, Urban Pest Management in Australia has been updated, and is now in its sixth edition. Co-authored by industry experts Ion Staunton, Phillip Hadlington and John Gerozisis, for over 40 years the book has been regarded as a trusted source of information on pests and best management practices.
The latest edition includes a more detailed section on termites and the various modes of action of professional products, allowing pest managers to better understand yet-to-be-released pesticides. Each chapter concludes with questions that prompt the reader to consider and evaluate the material they’ve just read, making the book a valuable learning tool as well as a handy reference guide.
The revised 6th edition is available now – see stockists on the UNSW Press website.
