Pest managers who are interested in upskilling in lawn care can register their interest to attend an informative training seminar.
Venturing into a new business segment such as lawn care can be a bit daunting – not only do you need to be comfortable from a technical point of view about the pests, weeds and products, but you need to have confidence in your business model.
Globe Pest Solutions will be running a series of seminars – Lawn Care for Pest Managers – to provide pest managers with both the knowledge and confidence to tap into this opportunity and grow their businesses.
“Globe has always had a close relationship with lawn care and turf management industries through its sister business unit Globe Growing Solutions. With our expertise, Globe has put together a training package that will enable pest managers learn how to treat a number of lawn pests and weeds effectively and safely. At Globe we are always looking at ways to help our customers grow their business,” commented Mark Hopping, business manager, Globe Pest Solutions.
The seminars will provide a comprehensive training package, covering:
- An introduction to turf and lawn management
- Fertiliser basics
- Insect pests – identification, understanding and control
- Weeds – identification, understanding and control
