SENTRICON ALWAYS ACTIVE TEAM EXPANDS

Dow AgroSciences appoints a new technical lead to its Australian Sentricon team.

As a result of the success and growth of Sentricon AlwaysActive since its launch in 2015, Dow AgroSciences has formally appointed Dr Robert Annetts as the technical lead of the Australian Sentricon team.

Dr Annetts has been a research entomologist with Dow AgroSciences for 19 years. Prior to joining Dow he worked for CSIRO and University of New England. To date, Dr Annetts has provided ‘as needed’ support to the Sentricon business. This has included directing the extensive termite research trials around Australia over the past two years, presenting the local and international research of Sentricon products at the recent FAOPMA conference, as well as attending numerous industry events.

“Rob will provide a technical focal point to support pest control operators,” advised Dow AgroSciences’ pest management business manager, Joanne George.

“His depth of entomological knowledge and experience, along with the termite specific experience of our ongoing trials around Australia, makes him an invaluable addition to the team. He has also developed important relationships with key customer groups through these trials, as well through his exposure at major conferences. I’m delighted to have him officially on board!”

Dr Annetts is based in Toowoomba and is currently overseeing Dow’s termite management trials across Australia. These trials are focused on supporting current uses of Sentricon AlwaysActive, as well as exploring new uses and new active ingredients for Australia.

“It’s an exciting time to be joining Sentricon, as Dow AgroSciences is investing significant resources into research which will develop new technologies in Australia,” concluded Dr Annetts.
