Accredited Termidor applicators are invited to profile their pest control businesses on the new-look Termidor website.
It’s a competitive marketplace out there, and pest managers know how hard it is to generate leads, particularly for termite jobs.
For Accredited Termidor Applicators the BASF Termidor website has been a great way for homeowners to make contact and generate new work, with over 84,000 visitors to the site in the past 12 months.
“Our Termidor website has worked well to date, funnelling business leads to pest managers who are accredited applicators. Each month we have several thousand visitors to the site with a large number of them using the postcode search function to locate the nearest pest manager,” said Stewart Paterson, BASF, commercial manager professional and specialty solutions ANZ.
“It’s an impressive number of visitors to the website, and BASF have been looking at how even more site visits can be converted into direct leads and business generating enquiries. We believe one of the best ways to do this is for approved applicators to add a brief company profile to their listing on the Termidor website.”
In addition to contact details, profiles will offer additional information about the pest manager’s company and their team. Pest managers will be able to briefly explain their company, why they recommend and like to use Termidor, and list what other services they offer. In addition, there is space to have a company logo and a photograph.
“What the homeowner will see when they look at the profile of the accredited applicator is a mini website. Adding the profile is designed to give the consumer greater confidence by showing that there is a ‘human face’ to the business thus converting more enquiry into genuine sales,” said Mr Paterson.
The process of uploading a profile is very straightforward. Accredited applicators need only complete a simple online form describing their business and uploading logos and photos at the same time.
“Once the material has been entered online and the images uploaded, the rest is done by BASF. It is a simple process for the pest manager meaning there is a minimal time commitment.
“There is no cost for accredited applicators to use this service. What’s more, not only will our accredited applicators benefit from having their profile visible, but they will also reap the benefits of our additional investment into search engine optimisation, and our search and display campaigns for Termidor and the $2 Million Assurance Warranty.
“Accredited applicators who have posted profiles can position themselves as experienced, professional and skilled operators. It means they can really ‘stand out from the crowd’ – and that will translate into more business.”
This offer is only available to Accredited Termidor Applicators. Pest managers who are not currently accredited can contact their local BASF representative to find out how.
Mr Paterson added, “In the near future we will be emailing all approved applicators with a link to the online form to enable them to complete their company profiles. I would really encourage accredited applicators to complete their profiles. There is no reason not to – the process is simple, is free and will drive more opportunities toward your business.”
