PMANZ Hits the Road

The Pest Management Association of New Zealand has announced a number of free educational events for pest managers across New Zealand in 2025.

After the resounding success of last year’s biennial PMANZ Conference in Auckland, which was both well attended and highly praised, the Pest Management Association of New Zealand is excited to announce that PMANZ is hitting the road in 2025!

Recognising the growing need for accessible, high quality training, PMANZ is bridging the gap between Garrards’ Roadshows and Key Industries’ Pestaculars with a brand-new series of regional events scheduled to take place throughout July and August. These events are designed to provide valuable insights, professional development, and networking opportunities for pest management professionals across New Zealand.

“We are planning to bring these events to Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, with a couple more locations currently under consideration,” said Gerwyn Jones, President of PMANZ. “This means that no matter where you are based, there is a good chance a PMANZ event will be coming to a city near you. These sessions will be hosted by the highly respected Dr. Paul Craddock, who will lead discussions on a variety of essential industry topics. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge and skills that will count towards their 2025 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements, ensuring they stay up to date with the latest advancements in pest management.”

Best of all, these events will be completely free for PMANZ members, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to supporting and upskilling professionals within the industry. Non-members are also welcome to attend for a reasonable fee, making this an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to expand their expertise, connect with industry peers, and take their professional development to the next level.

As the details are being finalised, pest managers who are interested in attending can stay up to date by visiting the PMANZ website as well as keeping an eye out for future updates in this magazine. These free regional events across New Zealand are a unique opportunity to learn from the best, network with fellow professionals, and enhance your career in the pest management industry.
