BASF is pleased to announce the appointment of its new national sales and accounts manager for the Professional and Specialty Solutions division.
BASF is very pleased to welcome Rachel Carson as its new national sales and accounts manager – Professional and Specialty Solutions, who joins from Syngenta where she was a product manager.
Ms Carson, who is originally from Ontario, Canada, holds a Bachelor of Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences – Major Pest Management. She also holds a Masters in Crop Physiology from the University of Arkansas and Cell and Systems Biology from the University of Toronto.
In her role, she will be responsible for ensuring that the BASF Professional and Specialty Solutions Sales team has the support and tools needed to meet the BASF strategy and will handle all of the head office key account activities. Ms Carson says her vision for the role is “having a really cohesive team that takes the Professional and Specialty Solutions business to the next level.”
She added, “I love working with the people. Joining the BASF family enables me to bring innovation to the pest management industry to help our customers build a profitable and sustainable business.
“BASF has one of the most robust and exciting pipelines in the global agriculture industry. They are well positioned to take significant market share over the next three to five years. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?!”
