London’s PestEx 2019 was deemed a success, which featured Ensystex’s Steve Broadbent delivering a popular presentation on cockroach behaviour.

In March, PestEx 2019 welcomed hundreds of delegates to the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in London. The free trade exhibition and conference is the largest get-together for the pest management sector in the UK and is free to attend.

Over 100 exhibitor stands and a two-day seminar program kept delegates busy, with standing room only for many of the seminars on day one. Seminars were divided into two streams – technical and business – with talks ranging from the reclassification of rodenticides to the latest in smart homes and automation technology.

The impressive range of international exhibitors and visitors remains a key feature of PestEx, with Ensystex’s Steve Broadbent delivering his presentation ‘Cockroach foraging behaviour and biology’ which was well received.

The event also saw the presentation of the British Pest Management Awards, which unlike our well established AEPMA Awards, is only in its second year.

While PestWorld in the US is certainly a larger event, the range of international interests represented at PestEx makes it a very valuable event in the international calendar.
