FMC welcomes a new face to the Specialty Solutions team.
FMC Specialty Solutions have announced that Dr Mark Walker (main picture, above) has joined their team as development and technical lead for Australasia. Dr Walker brings to FMC more than 20 years of technical and R&D experience.
Dr Walker began his career at AQIS and progressed to senior quarantine scientist. During this time he was awarded a scholarship to the University of Sydney and in 2005 achieved his PhD, specialising in cytogenetics and molecular genetics.
Since leaving the public service seven years ago, he has been working in R&D on chemistry development, in both professional pest control and professional turf management.
In addition, his experience in working through the Australian regulatory system will be a great benefit to FMC Pest Solutions.
Dr Walker will be based in FMC head office in North Ryde, Sydney.
