Envu Australia’s Professional Pest Management team was delighted to debut the new brand for the first time at Pesticon 2023 since becoming an independent company in October 2022.
As the curtain closed on a fantastic week at Pesticon for 2023, the Envu Australia Professional Pest Management (PPM) team was thrilled with the opportunity to deliver its first large-scale exhibition to the Pest Control Industry in ANZ since becoming an independent company in October 2022.
The theme of this year’s event, ‘What Customers Want’, highlighted the critical importance of understanding and fulfilling customer expectations in the industry. The Envu PPM team was excited to demonstrate its continued commitment to the industry by providing breakthrough solutions that reduce threats and restore natural spaces.

The event led with the highly anticipated leadership dinner sponsored by Envu where the team presented the Innovation in Pest Management Award. The award went to Flick Anticimex for their groundbreaking SMART Ecosystem – an innovation that showcases the industry’s ongoing quest for pioneering solutions. The dinner brought together influential leaders and key influencers from the ANZ pest control industry, creating an environment ripe for knowledge exchange and networking.
Throughout the conference, Pesticon delegates were exposed to a range of educational talks and workshops centered around customer expectations and identifying common barriers that prevent companies from fulfilling their customers’ needs. During breaks, they were then free to connect with the Envu team and other suppliers in the trade hall where the Envu booth was a hub of interaction and engagement featuring a unique juice bar quenching the thirst of delegates.
Daryle Swarz, national sales and marketing manager for PPM at Envu ANZ, expressed the significance of Pesticon. “It’s a key customer event in our annual calendar and a great opportunity for us to connect with some of our biggest customers and their teams alongside key industry experts and stakeholders,” he said.
He highlighted the importance of Envu’s participation at the conference, regarding it as an opportunity for the team and business at large. “The team had a number of great conversations, uncovering insights and opportunities. It was also great to see our broader team engaging with a number of key customers and strengthening the relationships they have with Envu experts from other states and marketing, fostering the partnership that we talk about every day,” he added.
Amy Kernke, digital and brand marketing lead at Envu, also voiced her enthusiasm regarding the brand’s engagement at Pesticon 2023 and the industry connections that were made. “It was exciting to see our first major brand activation come to life within the PPM segment. More exciting than seeing the creative execution, however, was seeing the partnerships and strong connections our team have across the industry. We talk about solving your toughest challenges together, and I really felt that in the conversations and reflections our team and customers were having at Pesticon.”
