Bayer Environmental Science has appointed David Fielder to the role of territory sales manager (pest) – VIC/SA/ TAS, replacing recently retired territory sales manager, Jim Westhead.
Mr Fielder comes to Bayer from Agserv Pest Control Supplies where he worked as their Victorian sales representative for ten years.
Mr Fielder began his career working in the automotive industry, completing an apprenticeship as a diesel mechanic before becoming a sales representative and later sales manager with an automotive battery manufacturer until 1998. He then spent 11 years in the UK working in fleet sales for the Honda Motor Group, arriving back in Australia at the end of 2010.
“I’m looking forward to working with Bayer and continuing to build relationships and help pest professionals throughout Australia,” Mr Fielder said. In his new role, Mr Fielder will be responsible for providing service and support to distributors and end users in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. He will report to Daryle Swarz, market manager (pest).
