Vale Kylee Enwright

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Kylee Enwright, co-owner of CPR Pest Management Services and leading female figure within the Australian pest control industry.

Ms Enwright passed away on August 15 surrounded by her loved ones after suffering a second brain bleed. Until this point she had been making amazing progress recovering from the brain injury she suffered after a fall while in Thailand back in May.

Ms Enwright, a kind, generous and loving person, was mother to Harrison, Jacinda and Slade as well as a grandmother to Aurora and Leo and mother-in-law to Ellie and Xander.

In her professional life, her hard work and ambition drove her family business forwards, winning multiple local business awards. Ms Enwright was the winner of the inaugural Professional Women In Australian Pest Management Award in 2019 and subsequently became a champion for women within the industry. Ms Enwright became not only a trainer and assessor, but also held the position of Chair of the NSW chapter of AEPMA. In recognition of her contribution, AEPMA and BASF have renamed the Pest Manager of the Year Award for the Micro Business Category (< 3 employees), the Kylee Enwright Micro Pest Manager of the Year Award.

Her ambition and generosity in giving back to the industry was matched with the kindnesses she showed to her local community, through the sponsorship of sports clubs and charities and efforts to educate other small business operators.

Ms Enwright’s legacy of generosity will live on through her selfless act of organ donation. Up to eight people will receive a second chance at life and her spirit will live on a while longer through them.

The Enwright family would also like to thank everybody in the pest control industry who provided support over the last couple of months.

On September 1 her life was celebrated by family and friends at a memorial service held her hometown of Singleton, NSW.

Professional Pest Manager extends its deepest sympathies to Paul Enwright and the family, as well the CPR Pest Management Services team.
