A pest manager from South Australia has been reminded that it’s not only the bedroom that can be home to bed bugs.
The bedroom is the first port of call on a bed bug inspection, but you shouldn’t assume that’s the centre of activity – the reason you need to carry out a thorough inspection. Such was the case when Neil Raw of Innovative Pest Control in Adelaide was called to a house that had been vacated three weeks earlier.
“There was only a small amount of bed bug activity in the bedroom, but the lounge was a different story. The leather couch (main picture, above) was full of bed bugs! We suspect the resident slept on the couch watching TV,” commented Mr Raw.
Whether human or bed bug, who doesn’t enjoy a TV dinner?
