STAFF CHANGES AT BELL LABS

A well known figure in the pest control world, Andy Knox of Bell Labs has left the business to entire retirement.

Bell Laboratories has announced the retirement of Australasian business manager Andy Knox. Effective January 2020, Australia technical and training representative Samuel Wood has transitioned into the role as Bell’s new Asia Pacific business manager.

Relocating from Scotland to Australia in 1980, Mr Knox started in the pest control industry by selling a range of agricultural and pest control products. Throughout his early career, he excelled in the industry by working with companies including Agrevo and Globe Pest Solutions, before becoming the managing director of his own company, Better Methods. After 30 years working in the industry, Mr Knox joined Bell Labs to manage the Australian, New Zealand, and Asian markets.

In his nine years at Bell, Mr Knox has helped the international business grow significantly. Alongside Mr Wood, who has been with the company for four years, the pair have strengthened the Bell brand by supporting business relationships and maintaining strong partnerships.

Mr Knox commented, “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the industry, and particularly with Bell Laboratories. I have made so many friends through business over the years that it is hard to thank everyone. I am happy and proud to know that Bell is in good shape, and in good hands for the years to come.”

Based in Victoria, Mr Wood will continue to expand Bell Labs’ business together with newly hired Meilisa Oen, who will take on the technical representative role in Australia and New Zealand.
