Agserv’s Pestech roadshow has wrapped up for 2019 after a series of excellent turnouts across the country.
Agserv Pestech has recently completed its national tour with events held in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth and Sydney. It continues to be one of the industry’s most popular and well attended events.
“With over 500 pest managers attending the Pestech series, it was our best turnout yet,” commented Jason Green, general manager at Agserv. “We would like to give a big thank you to everyone who attended one of the Pestech events.”
The events provided one or more talks from invited speakers; Dr Don Ewart gave a talk entitled ‘Know your termites’, Dr Lizzy Lowe discussed spiders and biological control in an urban context, Shane Clarke presented on using technology to train detection dogs and Teagan Howell from the DPI in Queensland provided fire ant training. This was supported by presentations from some of the key suppliers and of course the trade exhibition.
“We would also like to thank all our speakers and our major sponsors BASF, Bayer, Bell Laboratories, FMC and Syngenta, along with all our trade show sponsors, AEPMA and PWAPM. Without them, it wouldn’t be a success,” concluded Mr Green.
Preparations and planning for the 2020 Pestech series are already under way, with dates to be released soon.
