Three impressive candidates made it to the final round of the inaugural Pest Technician of the Year award but only one pest manager took home the award.

Professional Pest Manager is pleased to announce the winner of the inaugural Pest Manager of the Year award: Murray McPhillips from Brisbane. Mr McPhillips currently sub-contracts for Pest-Nett in Brisbane and Mug-A-Bug on the Gold Coast.

The competition involved the completion of a short but challenging online quiz, submission of customer reviews and a panel interview for the finalists.

“To be honest, we were blown away by the standard of the finalists. Not only by their pest control knowledge, but their approach to pest management, attention to detail and their customer service skills,” commented Dr Phil Ridley, director at Professional Pest Manager magazine.

Professional Pest Manager would like to thank Agserv for its support in running the competition and the prizes for the winner and finalists.

In-depth interviews with the winner and finalists will appear in the Summer issue of Professional Pest Manager magazine.
