FAOPMA Pest Summit, which took place in Tokyo between November 6-8, was a sell-out event.
A relatively large contingent of delegates from the Australian pest management industry recently made their way to Japan for Pest Summit 2022. The event, organised by the Federation of Asian and Oceania Pest Managers Associations (FAOPMA) was held at the Kyoto International Conference Centre between 6-8 November.
Despite the rigorous Japanese entry requirements making travel to the country rather challenging, the event was a sell-out. In total, over 800 delegates attended, 450 of them from outside Japan from over 30 different countries.
Australia was certainly well represented, not only on the event organising committee, but also by several manufacturers and distributors, plus numerous managers and staff from pest control companies.
After a wait of three years due to the Covid pandemic, everyone was delighted to once again get together face-to-face, to find out what was new in the industry and to connect with others. Read more about the event in journalist Frances McKim‘s full review of the event.
