Wallace Risk Solutions celebrates ten years in the insurance business.
Ten years has crept up suddenly… where did the years go?! It just proves that when you love what you do, the time flies by. I set up Wallace Risk Solutions in 2009 after working for various international brokers and over the last decade the journey has been a mixture of ups and downs. But by far and away, it has mostly been great fun.
Over the years we have grown from servicing a few pest managers to hundreds across Australia and it has become an integral part of our business. We provide not only the professional indemnity and public liability that are essential to pest management businesses, but we also provide general business insurance, and vehicle and tool cover, as well as home and contents insurance.
Our clients are important to us and we strive to provide high levels of service and do what’s in their best interest as a matter of course. With the support of our insurers and underwriting agencies we are providing access to increasingly better insurance products.
Over the years we have been lucky enough to get to know many of our clients and the team here enjoys looking after their insurance needs. It always makes me happy to hear that our clients appreciate the efforts our team goes to and positive feedback makes for a great working environment.
Following our growth in the pest management insurance area, our staff numbers have grown, too. This means we now have a dedicated claims management area as well as a life insurance and income protection advisor.
We will be adding further staff during 2020 to ensure we can deliver on our service promise. For the first time, we will be hosting a conference in Melbourne called Talking Inspections, held in March. The day will comprise of insights into insurance, claims and reporting with guest speakers. The idea is to keep Talking Inspections free of charge and to run it in various locations throughout the year. We learn a lot from our clients’ experiences, and it makes sense to share the acquired knowledge so risk can be better managed.
