SHERWOOD CHEMICALS STUDY TOUR 2015

Due to popular demand, Sherwood Chemicals has announced not one but two dates for its 2015 factory tour event.

For the third year running, Sherwood Chemicals will open its factory doors in Thailand and host a tour of the manufacturing facilities together with the launch of several new products to Australian pest professionals. In 2015 two dates have been set to cater for the increase in number of interested pest managers. Attendees can gain an insight into how consistent quality products are made, while combining a holiday in the land of smiles, Thailand.

John Ralph, Sherwood Chemicals’ Australian business manager, initiated the study tour concept. “What we have learnt over the years is that Australian pest management businesses are run by entrepreneurs who are not only passionate about their business, but interested in educating themselves to improve their service and profit through utilising the best valued products,” he said.

“It is difficult for small business owners to take holidays. So the concept of a study tour was initiated so that industry professionals could combine a holiday and also take the opportunity to share ideas with other business owners and keep up to date with new technologies and information about the products they use.”

Sherwood Chemicals was established in 1995 by TOA Paint and in 1996 the executive management team of Shell Thailand joined to acquire the household chemicals business from Shell Thailand including products, trademarks and staff. Sherwood Chemicals core insecticide products are formulated from a single formulation facility in accordance with ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environment) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Their research and development is supported by in-house R&D chemists, chemical engineers and proven independent efficacy results completed in Australia and Thailand.

Sherwood Chemicals has a growing reputation for consistent high quality products, technical support, and arguably the largest portfolio of independently tested termiticide formulations worldwide. The company is a unique formulation specialist dedicated to the professional pest markets pursuing excellence in formulation chemistry. Combined with 20 years of formulation chemistry experience and significant investments in systems to provide consistent quality products, Sherwood Chemicals has emerged as a leading supplier in Australia with such products as Biforce, Chaindrite, Fipforce, Ultraforce and Imiforce.

“In 2015 we have set July 23 as the first event and July 30 as the second event to create flexibility and to cater for the larger number of companies who have expressed an interest in traveling to the event in 2015,” said Mr Ralph.

If the feedback from 2014 is any indication, then those interested should secure their place early by contacting Elton Arderne or John Ralph to request further information.
