A new business venture sees two established pest control supply companies joining forces.
Pelsis Holdings (UK) and Curtis Gilmour have recently announced a merger, bringing together the brand portfolios and operations of the two companies.
The activities of the two companies are highly complementary and together give access to a broader range of customers, and geographies, for the consolidated product range.
Pelsis has leading brands in both the professional and consumer pest control categories, such as Insect-O-Cutor and Network bird control, while Curtis Gilmour’s brands include the B&G Equipment line of professional sprayers, Curtis Dyna-Fog premium fogging products, as well as the Agrisense and Silvandersson trapping and monitoring brands.
The consolidated portfolio will be led by Pelsis Group CEO Peter Mangion, and will continue to operate from its current facilities in the US and in Europe. A core strength acknowledged by the two companies is their respective distribution, distributor and sales representative network means of going to market, about which there is no intention to change.
“The bringing together of these great brands creates a compelling o er to customers large and small across the USA and Europe, an offer which covers the full needs of the professional pest manager as well as the end consumer,” Mr Mangion said.
According to Curtis Gilmour Executive Chairman and Harwood Operational Adviser Carl Contadini, “Our history with Pelsis dates to better than a decade ago. The combining of these two companies into an enlarged group, and our reunion with Pelsis, settles an ambition we have pressed since we formed Curtis five years ago.”
