The acquisition of Pest magazine in the UK signals a change of direction for the publication.
It was announced in January 2020 that the UK’s independent pest control magazine, Pest, is under new ownership. Now owned by Lewis Business Media (LBM), an independent, family-owned publisher, the pest control title is a natural fit alongside its other agricultural titles.
Pest founders Frances McKim and Helen Riby (main picture, above) believe the move has secured a long-term future for the publication. They will continue to provide support during the transition period.
Ms McKim commented, “Pest control won’t be getting rid of us that easily! We will still be attending events, making sure things get handed over smoothly and providing editorial content. Both Helen and I would like to thank all our readers for their encouraging comments and contributions over the years.”
Ms Riby added, “We are very proud of what we’ve achieved with Pest over the past 11 years.”
