AEDLAIDE HOSTS FUMIGATION CONFERENCE

Adelaide played host to the 2017 Fumigants and Pheromones conference, which was well received by the industry.

In early March, Adelaide hosted the 12th Fumigants and Pheromones conference. This international conference brought together academics, industry representatives, trainers and regulators from around the world to present and discuss the latest industry developments. The conference had 180 attendees from 26 different countries – a great networking opportunity.

Mark Sheppard from Pest Education Services and Training in Western Australia attended the event. “This was a truly international conference with attendees from the United States, Canada and even Zimbabwe. What was really exciting was that we also had good representation from Australia, both from industry and governments.

“The conference was not too ‘high brow’, and down to earth, providing practical tips and discussing real issues. Certainly worth my investment of time and money.”

The next conference will be “back home again in Indiana” in 2018.
