In the ever-changing business of pest control, keeping up with legislative changes and current pest elimination practices is critical to running a profitable and effective business.<\/p>\n

Rapid Solutions<\/a> has partnered with Globe Pest Solutions<\/a> to develop a training program that refreshes students\u2019 skills to ensure they use an industry best practice approach when conducting risk assessments, performing inspections, identifying pests and developing and applying treatment plans.<\/p>\n

Designed for pest technicians, the course offers practical tips and hands-on learning, bringing attendees\u2019 skills up to date with current industry practices and legislative changes.<\/p>\n

The comprehensive course is divided into three segments, with one segment covered each day. The first day looks at day to day business practices, including Standards and Codes of Practice, client interactions, equipment, safety and risk, and updates to legislation. Day two covers the identification, inspection and treatment processes for primary pests \u2013 namely cockroaches, rodents and spiders \u2013 and includes a presentation by Globe Pest Solutions. Day three covers the same for fleas, ants and other pests.<\/p>\n

Students can sign up for the whole course or for day two and three only. The cost for the three-day course is $700 while two days is $400, which includes the handouts and presentations as well as lunch, and morning and afternoon teas. The courses are run by Rapid Solutions accredited trainers.<\/p>\n
