{"id":3723,"date":"2019-01-01T13:52:30","date_gmt":"2019-01-01T03:52:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ppmmagazine.com.au\/?p=3723"},"modified":"2021-03-23T07:25:49","modified_gmt":"2021-03-22T21:25:49","slug":"rapids-welcomes-new-underwriter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/professionalpestmanager.com\/nz\/professional-pest-manager-magazine\/rapids-welcomes-new-underwriter\/","title":{"rendered":"RAPIDS WELCOMES NEW UNDERWRITER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>A new face joins the team at Rapid Solutions.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"hr-thick\"><\/div>\n<p>After a decade as the general manager of a specialist underwriter to the entertainment, security and fire protection sectors, <strong>Paul<\/strong> <strong>Howard<\/strong> recently joined the team at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rapidsolutions.com.au\/\">Rapid Solutions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Howard grew up in the Hunter region and moved to Sydney where he pursued a career in accounting with KPMG before working with NZI. An opportunity to move into the underwriting team provided him with a unique skillset that has supported a specialist insurance career for the past two decades. It was this career shift and the desire to raise a family in his home town that led him back to Newcastle, NSW.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Howard said he was not looking for a change of roles when he was asked if he knew anyone from the sector that might be interested in an underwriting position at Rapids Solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was impressed with Rapid Solutions\u2019 approach to providing insurance to the specific fields of pest management and building inspection. But it was the organisation\u2019s modern approach to its business and the way in which it worked to meet the changing needs of its customers that really appealed,\u201d said Mr Howard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn coming months and as part of its growth strategies, Rapid will integrate a new software system that will provide even greater customer service and access.
