There are many reasons for choosing to live on a houseboat anchored at an ocean marina. To start with when you wake up in the morning, you don\u2019t have to go far to go fishing and there is no more lawn mowing. One might also have thought there would be no need to worry about subterranean termites, after all, they are not known to be aquatic!<\/p>\n

So it was a bit of surprise to confirm that the termites were most definitely Coptotermes<\/em> acinaciformis<\/em>. They were nesting deep inside the hull and, due to the structure of the boat; it was impossible to access the actual colony. It was clearly essential that we eliminate the nest, so the obvious solution was the Exterra Termite Colony Elimination System<\/a>.
