Dealing with wasp nests is one of the more dangerous pest control activities. Not only can you get stung, it\u2019s not unheard of to have an accident or trip and fall when running away from a treated nest. Fortunately, with Sumitomo WaspJet,<\/a> pest managers have a tool to tackle wasp nests safely.<\/p>\n

WaspJet is a high volume, high power aerosol, specifically designed as a wasp control product and with three key features that allows pest managers to eliminate wasp nests quickly and safely. Firstly, the formulation has a spray distance of up to six metres, which allows pest managers to stand well back from treated nests and avoid standing on ladders.<\/p>\n

Secondly, it utilises a unique combination of actives (WaspJet is an original, not a copy), at concentrations two times greater than other commercial products, and delivers instant immobilisation. Providing you\u2019re accurate with your spraying, the nest and wasps are coated with the product immediately, preventing them flying off and stinging you.\u00a0And thirdly, the formulation has been developed as a low electrical conductivity formulation. Based on specialised solvents and using carbon dioxide as the propellent, it can be used in a wide range of situations, including around electrical areas.<\/p>\n

With WaspJet, dealing with wasp nests is quick, cost effective and can also be a bit of fun. The 400 g aerosol releases up to 10 g of product per second, so for even large native paper wasp nests, a two to three second spray is more than enough. That means each can of WaspJet is normally enough to treat around 15 nests, ensuring great value on a cost per nest basis.<\/p>\n

Although the main use for WaspJet is for dealing with native paper wasp nests, it can also be used on mud dauber wasps and exposed European wasp nests, meaning pest managers can tackle wasp nests with confidence.<\/p>\n
