In June, Syngenta Group Co. Ltd., announced the official launch of Syngenta Group, positioned as a new global leader in agricultural science and innovation.<\/p>\n Under a single entity, the launch unites Syngenta AG, headquartered in Switzerland, Adama, based\u00a0in Israel, and the agricultural businesses of Sinochem, based\u00a0in China. The new entity, to be headquartered in Switzerland, will boast 48,000 employees in more than 100 countries, with sales of US$23 billion in 2019.<\/p>\n The new organisation encompasses four separate business units; Syngenta Crop Protection, Syngenta Seeds, Adama and Syngenta Group China.<\/p>\n Erik Fyrwald<\/strong>, Syngenta Group\u00a0CEO, commented, \u201cCustomers will continue to get the full attention\u00a0of the businesses as they currently serve them, but the capabilities each brings will be enhanced where it adds value by collaboration across the Syngenta Group.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Syngenta Group Co.
