Bayer Amplify offers pest managers free online courses to upskill in a wide range of areas, from pest knowledge to business management.
Bayer Amplify is a business development program developed by Bayer, to partner with key customers to develop new market opportunities and amplify growth in both businesses.
Pest control businesses who register with the free program, gain access to professionally designed and customised marketing material, online PCO training, industry video blogs and more, to help grow the participating firms’ businesses.
The Amplify program offers to partner with Bayer customers, to grow their business by amplifying their efforts to:
- Market their business to existing and new customers
- Provide better service to their customers through online training
- Benefit from ongoing access to marketing tools, tips and techniques all designed to keep delivering strong growth in their business.
Daryle Swarz, pest national market manager at Bayer said, “We want to work in partnership with our customers and help them grow their business. Importantly, we are focused on what our customers need and want. Our extensive research shows that access to marketing and on-line training would be valuable to seven out of ten pest control businesses.

“An example of the type of marketing activity the Bayer Amplify program can provide is providing help with SEO (search engine optimisation) for the customer’s website, to increase their ranking on Google.This could feasibly attract 10-20 additional calls a month from those searching for pest control in the local firm’s area.Those 10-20 calls per month could contribute up to five additional customers per month, each spending over $200 in services or up to $12,000 a year in additional income or $10,800 gross profit,”added Mr Swarz.
“The online training includes courses on spider control, bed bug treatment and control, cockroach control, termite bait installation and ‘How is your residential pest knowledge’.These on-ine courses are regularly updated and added to, and can be taken at any time, by any member, for free. On completion of the training course, a certificate of completion is generated.”
