Bayer welcomes a new addition to its national sales team.
Bayer has appointed Chris Mills as the territory sales manager (Pest) for Queensland. Mr Mills comes to Bayer with 17 years of pest management experience, having worked in both the residential and commercial markets, including fumigation and pre-construction. Previously he has represented several different multinational pest management firms, working in variety of roles including technician, sales representative and middle management.
Daryle Swarz, pest market manager for Bayer, said “We are delighted to welcome Chris onboard. He has an enormous amount of experience in general pest control, but also has considerable expertise in termite control. Chris has been heavily involved in termite baiting, from geographical areas such as the cool winter climates of Canberra, South Coast and country New South Wales, to the mild Sydney metro, and up to the sub-tropics of his home base in Queensland. He has a very well-rounded knowledge of the various termite species, along with their equally varied feeding patterns and characteristic behaviours – knowledge that is key to successful termite baiting. Chris will bring added value to our termite range of products including Premise Termiticide, Kordon Termite Barrier and Agenda Termite Baiting System.”
Mr Mills said, “I am grateful for the opportunity and excited about this new role with Bayer. It will be wonderful leveraging the resources that Bayer provides, as well as the wealth of experience and knowledge that comes with such a large research and development company.
“I am also excited at the prospect of developing key relationships with all the major distribution channels in the industry. Distribution plays a major role in arming the end user with valuable technical knowledge on product, hardware and industry regulations, as well as best practice guidelines,” he added.
