CELEBRATING 20 YEARS

Termite product manufacturer TERM-seal celebrates an impressive milestone this year, with 2018 marking 20 years since the company was first founded.

Termite product manufacturer TERM-seal celebrates an impressive milestone this year, with 2018 marking 20 years since the company was first founded.

In 1997, Phil Hannay and Dr Roger Franklin set about developing new solutions for termite proofing new and existing structures using bifenthrin. TERM-seal’s range of termite and waterproofing barriers and sealants have been in the market for over 15 years and continue to be popular with pest managers for pre-construction jobs.

Managing Director Mr Hannay believes the success of the business is down to a simple formula: TERM-seal makes products in Australia, that protect buildings under Australian conditions.

“We’ve had exponential growth since the very beginning and we will continue to grow because the pest and building industries have embraced our products. They’re developed specifically for the issues we face here in Australia and our technical support is second to none. The fact that pest managers continue to use our tried and tested products year after year speaks for itself,” said Mr Hannay.

“We’ve got some exciting plans for 2018, with a new non-termite product in the pipeline – one that uses a unique delivery system, developed by us here – and we’ll be expanding our presence in each state too, with additional technical support staff coming on board.”
