BASF APPOINTS MARK WILSON

BASF has appointed a new northern sales manager.

Mark Wilson has recently been appointed as the northern sales manager for the BASF Professional and Specialty Solutions team.

Mr Wilson brings over 15 years’ experience in account management and customer service to BASF and will have responsibility for servicing pest managers throughout Queensland and Northern Territory.

“Our customers will be able to benefit from my extensive knowledge of professional pest management in both residential and commercial sectors. I also have significant wide ranging experience in management and sales looking after a large portfolio of Queensland clients from the government, health and transport sectors,” said Mr Wilson.

“I have taken on this role looking forward to the challenge of understanding our clients’ pest management needs and finding innovative solutions from within the BASF pest control portfolio, to deliver real benefits for their business.

“I have learnt from experience that ongoing partnership approach is the best way to create shared value, and look forward to working with pest managers to help them get the best results for their customers.”

Stewart Paterson, commercial manager, Professional and Specialty Solutions ANZ for BASF advised, “BASF is a global innovator in pest control, and our pipeline of pest control solutions is full of exciting new innovations.

“Mark has a wealth of experience in pest management and customer service. He will be working closely with pest managers, training them and advising them about our new products and promotions.

“In 2015 we are rewarding our clients who use one of our long standing innovations, Termidor, with the opportunity to win $3000 in each of four draws.

“We are also working hard to grow householder awareness about the risk of termites. As a first for our industry, a significant end consumer campaign ‘Take The Termite Test’ will be rolled out in selected regions of Australia. A raft of communication tools will be used including Facebook, radio, mail drops, t-shirts, caps, car stickers, air fresheners and sunshades for cars,” said Mr Paterson.
